Overview

Getting students to understand the concept of a function can be challenging. This free webinar provides examples and activities that will help teachers move students beyond inputs, outputs, and the vertical line test to empower students to represent, manipulate, and interpret functions in both real-world and purely mathematical situations. Participants experience lessons and tasks that engage students in the concept of a function, the use of proper notation, and an understanding of function vocabulary.
